Reinforcements and heavy weapons are arriving to help soldiers of the Donbas battalion, leading the fighting in Ilovaisk.
The press service of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) told Ukrinform.
” Reinforcements from other regions of Ukraine are coming to the soldiers of the battalion of quick response Donbas of the National Guard of Ukraine and volunteer battalions, involved in a special operation (in Ilovaisk),” the press service informed.
As specified in the National Guard, on the way to the venue of fighting there are heavy weapons, including mortar, grenade and anti-tank installations, anti-aircraft complexes.
Currently, fighting continues in some districts of Ilovaisk.
According to the National Guard of Ukraine, terrorists undertake fierce resistance and are trying to regain the territory lost yesterday, which is now controlled by Ukrainian law enforcers.
