Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk urged members of the government to take a decision at the next meeting to halve the number of inspections, supervisory and regulatory bodies.
He said at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.
“I ask that at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, a landmark decision was taken to halve the number of inspections, supervisory and regulatory bodies,” he said.
He said that the Regulations on the State Regulatory Service will be approved at today’s meeting of the government.
“The purpose of the service is reducing bureaucracy, reducing the number of regulatory bodies, as well as the regulatory authorities, the number of bureaucrats and parasites, we have today, and with all this – the efficiency of the state machine, which should be focused on one thing – protection of human and civil rights,” he said.
