Shelling of residential areas of Makiyivka by terrorists led to civilian casualties.
Spokesman of the Information-Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Lysenko said, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In Makiyivka, Donetsk region, terrorists shelled residential areas and industrial facilities, there are casualties among the civilian population,” Lysenko said.
The Spokesman also said that the militants of the Makiyivka terrorist group “DPR” dug trenches in the middle of the residential area. However, local residents are opposed to those using their city as a battlefield.
