Lviv Armored Plant (LBTRZ) received a UAH 15 million order from the Ministry of Defence to produce light armored personnel carriers Dozor and other combat vehicles, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy told reporters on Wednesday.
“The capacity of Lviv Armored Plant increased significantly. The plant has got an order of UAH 15 million from the Ministry of Defence to produce light armored vehicles Dozor and other new combat vehicles developed by domestic designers,” Sadovy said.
According to him, in Lviv there is the opportunity not only to restore and produce armored vehicles, but also to overhaul aircraft.
In addition, the city has a defence industry enterprise to produce ultra-precise weapons, in particular Kolchuga radars – electronic warfare support measures systems.
