Russia’s attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, the Russian army carried out 1 missile and 31 aviation strikes, conducted 52 rocket artillery shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas using rocket artillery systems. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage.
The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. Within the day, 25 military clashes took place.

- In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 populated areas, including Sosnivka in the Chernihiv region, Seredyna-Buda, Romashkove, Shalyhyne, Nova Sloboda in the Sumy region, as well as Vovchansk, Khrupuny, Karaichne, Mala Vovcha, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops conducted an aviation strike in the vicinity of Kotliarivka in the Kharkiv region. The populated areas of Borova, Kupiansk, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region suffered from Russian artillery and mortar shelling.
- In the Lyman direction, the Russian army carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Cherneshchyna in the Kharkiv region, Novoehorivka, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Rozdolivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, Russian soldiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Bila Hora and New York in the Donetsk region. More than 15 populated areas, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army carried out artillery and mortar shelling on populated areas such as Oleksandriivka, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Siverne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the area of Marinka in the Donetsk region. Russian unsuccessful offensive actions took place in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka. An aviation strike was conducted in the area of Krasnohorivka. Populated areas including Krasnohorivka, Pobeda, Marinka, Kurakhovo, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region suffered from artillery shelling.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Populated areas like Vodiane, Bohoyavlenska, Prechystivka, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Novodanylivka, Robotyne, and Orikhove in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 15 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaypole, Lobkove, and Plavni in the Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Kherson direction, the Russian army shelled populated areas such as Stanislav, Velestenske, and Antonivka in the Kherson region using artillery and mortars.
Ukrainian countermeasures
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, solidify their positions at achieved boundaries, and carry out counter-battery measures.
During the day, the Armed Forces’ aviation carried out 12 strikes on personnel concentration areas and 4 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
Units of the missile forces and artillery hit 1 artillery piece in firing position and 2 Russian radar stations during the day.
