Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, Russian troops carried out another missile and aviation strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 17 Iranian-made Shahed strike drones and 1 guided missile from the S-300 surface-to-air missile system. As a result of successful combat operations by anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and other components of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces, 16 Shahed drones were destroyed.
In addition, the Russian army conducted 43 aviation strikes and carried out 17 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launch systems. The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. During the day, there were approximately 20 combat engagements.

- In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged with no significant developments. There are no signs of Russia’s forming offensive groupings. The identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army maintains its military presence. During the day, it carried out an aviation strike in the area of Radkyvka in Sumy Oblast. It also conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 15 settlements, including Karpovychi and Kamin in Chernihiv Oblast, Malushyne and Boyaro-Lezhachi in Sumy Oblast, and Kozacha Lopan, Neskuchne, and Ternova in Kharkiv Oblast.
- In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense steadfastly. The Russian army subjected Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamyanka, Kyslivka, Berestove, and Fiholivka in Kharkiv Oblast to artillery and mortar shelling.
- In the Lyman direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions west of Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast and east of Novosadove in Donetsk Oblast. More than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast, were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, under intense Russian fire from aviation and artillery, Ukrainian military successfully repelled all Russian attacks in the area of Berkhivka in Donetsk Oblast. More than 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Diliivka, and Pivnichne in Donetsk Oblast, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Pervomaiske. They conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast. At the same time, they conducted artillery shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Berdychivka, Lastochkyne, and Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to contain the Russian forces’ advance in the area of Marinka. The Russian army carried out shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, and Horlivka in Donetsk Oblast.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. They shelled the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrainka, Blahodatne, and Bohoyavlenka.
- In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army focuses its main efforts on preventing the further advancement of Ukrainian troops. It conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Hrozove in Kherson Oblast. It also shelled more than 20 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Mala Tokmachka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, and Bilohirya in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Antonivka, Tyahynka, Chornobaivka, Mykilske in Kherson Oblast, and the city of Kherson. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidate their positions on the achieved front lines, deliver artillery fire on identified Russian targets, and carry out counter-battery measures.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
During the day, the aviation of Ukraine conducted 13 strikes on personnel concentration areas and one strike on Russian air defense missile system.
The units of the missile forces and artillery destroyed 9 artillery systems in firing positions of the Russian army throughout the day.
