Russian army’s attacks on civilian infrastructure
The Russian Federation continues to kill the peaceful population of Ukraine and disregard the laws and customs of war, using terrorist tactics, launching attacks, and shelling both military and civilian objects.
Within a day, Russian troops carried out another missile and aerial strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 4 Kalibr cruise missiles and 4 Iranian strike UAVs Shahed-136/131. All 8 aerial targets were destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Furthermore, the Russian army conducted 32 aviation strikes and approximately 40 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Civilians were affected.
The probability of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. There have been 39 combat clashes within a day.
Operational situation on Ukrainian directions

- Volyn and Polissya directions: the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed indicating the formation of Russian groups. Combat training and coordination of Russian Federation forces units continue on the training grounds in the Republic of Belarus before their deployment to the areas of hostilities on Ukrainian territory.
- Siversk and Slobozhansk directions: the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. It conducted mortar and artillery shelling on populated areas in Hremiach, Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Chuykivka, Basivka, Turiya, Sumy region, as well as Huryiv Kozachok, Udy, Chervona Zorya, Kozacha Lopan, Hlyboke, Oliynykove, Lyptsi, Ternova, Staritsa, Ohirtseve, Hatysche, Vovchansk, Zybne, Okhrimivka, Varvarivka, Nesterne, Budarky, Krasnyi Yar in the Kharkiv region.
- Kupiansk direction: Russian troops conducted an aviation strike on the populated area of Kyslivka, Kharkiv region. Russian artillery and mortar shelling affected Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
- Lyman direction: the Russian army carried out offensive actions in the directions of Yamolivka, Torske, west of Dybrova, Hryhorivka, and Spirne in the Donetsk region, but without success. It conducted an aviation strike on the populated area of Spirne in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling affected Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
- Bakhmut direction: the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region. It carried out aviation strikes on the populated areas of Pivnichne and Toretsk. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Oziarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka, Druzhba, Pivnichne in the Donetsk region were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- Avdiivka direction: Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Avdiivka. They carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Orlivka, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
- Marinka direction: Ukrainian troops repelled all Russian attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Pisky. The Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the area of Marinka. At the same time, Russian military carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Horlivka, Marinka, and Pisky in the Donetsk region.
- Shakhtarsk direction: Russian soldiers conducted offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka. They conducted an aviation strike in the area of Zolota Nyva. They shelled the populated areas of Paraskeviivka, Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.
- Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: the Russian army continues defensive actions. It conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Levadne, Zelene Pole, and Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian troops carried out artillery shelling on the populated areas of Blahodatne, Makarivka, Storozhove, Vremivka, Vilne Pole, Zelene Pole, Novopil in the Donetsk region; Temirivka, Levadne, Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaky, Stepove, Pyatyhatky, Lobkove, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Beryslav, Tomarine, Kozatske, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Kherson, Dniprovskoe, Kizomys, Sofiivka in the Kherson region.
Russian occupying forces continue to suffer significant losses on the battlefield. As a result, the Russian army continues to convert civilian facilities in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into medical institutions. For example, the general school in the settlement of Rozivka in the Zaporizhzhia region has been transformed into a military hospital by Russian troops. The dining hall has been turned into an operating room, and the classrooms have been converted into wards for the wounded. Additionally, this military hospital is being used as a logistical hub for the redistribution of wounded and deceased Russian servicemen. Severely injured soldiers and sergeants are transported to medical facilities in Donetsk, Mariupol, and Berdiansk by road transport. Transportation of wounded officers is carried out by air to the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian aviation and artillery response
The defense aviation of the Ukrainian army conducted 15 strikes on Russian personnel concentration areas within a day.
Units of missile forces and artillery during the day struck 3 command posts, 6 areas of Russian personnel and military equipment concentration, 2 ammunition depots, 1 fuel and lubricants depot, 14 artillery units in firing positions, 3 air defense systems, and 2 other important Russian targets.
