The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that Russian troops shelled a kindergarten in the border town of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, the building was partially destroyed on April 28, 2023.

“According to the investigation, on April 28, around 6:30 a.m., Russian soldiers hit the roof of a kindergarten in the city of Vovchansk: the building was partially destroyed,” noted the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The Russian army also shelled the Kupyansk district. Private house and an outbuilding were on fire, a garage and a tractor were also damaged in the village of Petropavlivka.
Earlier, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov said that Lyptsi, Buhaivka, Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Kamianka, Petropavlivka, Dvorichna, Lyman Pershyi and other towns and villages were under Russian fire in the Kharkiv region on April 27, 2023.
“3 private houses and a 2-story apartment building were damaged by 120-mm mortars in Lyptsi, Kharkiv region,” added Oleh Synyehubov.
