The Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that on April 21, 2023, the Russian army attacked Ukraine from the north (Bryansk region of the Russian Federation) with kamikaze attack drones. 8 of them were shot down by the Ukrainian Air Force.

“Russian troops used up to 12 “Shahed-136/131″ attack drones. The forces and means of anti-aircraft defense of the Air Command Center of the Air Force in cooperation with the Air Defense Forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed eight Shahed drones,” explained the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
An infrastructure facility in the Vinnytsia region was hit as a result of a drone attack at night on April 21, 2023.
“Unfortunately, in our region there is a hit to an infrastructure object, in the Vinnytsia region. However, most of the Shahed drones were shot down,” informed the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command Pivden (South).
