“Currently, we at Europol have analyzed 7,000 photos and video clips and 550 witness statements. We have so far been able to identify 150 suspects of war crimes. Together with the International Criminal Court, we also contributed to the development of Ukraine’s witness protection capabilities,” informed the executive director of Europol.
Catherine De Bolle emphasized that Europol attaches primary importance to the investigation of Russian war crimes in Ukraine, collects information and identifies those involved.
“We are processing the information and trying to establish a link between the different information we have and that comes from different countries. This is our main support for the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ukrainian law enforcement, and the International Criminal Court,” added the executive director of Europol.
