The police of the Kherson region informed on March 29, 2023, that Russian troops once again subjected the city of Kherson to massive shelling, explosions rang out around the clock.

“Russian soldiers mercilessly shelled infrastructure facilities, targeting only the peaceful residential quarters of the center. There are no military facilities in these areas. Shells damaged a medical facility, a post office, a school building, apartments in high-rise buildings, private houses, and cars. As a result of the Russian attack, there is a wounded among the civilians,” noted the police of the Kherson region.
Settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts were also hit by shelling from mortars, multiple rocket launchers, artillery, UAVs, and aircraft. Russian military shelled residential buildings and farm buildings there.
Over the past day, the police opened 42 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by Russian soldiers in the Kherson region.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian army carried out 34 shellings of the Kherson region on March 28, 2023.
