“Today I held a very important meeting for Ukraine. I was pleased to see my friends-colleagues: the Supreme Allied Commander Europe – Commander of the US European Command General Christopher Cavoli, Chief of the Defense Staff of the British Armed Forces Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces General Rajmund Andrzejczak, Commander of the Security Assistance Group of Ukraine – Lieutenant General Antonio A. Aguto. I am grateful for a very meaningful and direct conversation. First of all, I informed my colleagues about the situation on the battlefield. I explained in the most details the situation on the Eastern direction, in particular, regarding the course of events in Bakhmut [a city in the Donestk region – ed.],” wrote the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the parties discussed the supply of military aid – weapons and ammunition, as well as the issue of strengthening anti-aircraft defense, by providing long-range weapons.

“We also continued our dialogue regarding the training of the Ukrainian military. We agreed to continue working together in these and other important domains,” added Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
