US President arrived in the capital of Ukraine to demonstrate support: photos, video

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on Telegram that the President of the United States, Joe Biden arrived in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, on February 20, 2023.

“Joseph Biden, welcome to Kyiv! Your visit is an extremely important sign of support for all Ukrainians,” wrote the President of Ukraine.

It is reported that the American leader honored the memory of the fallen Heroes of Ukraine together with President Zelenskyy on Mykhailivska Square during the sounds of an air alert.

The President of the USA Joe Biden also wrote about his visit to Ukraine on Twitter.

“As we approach the anniversary of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, I’m in Kyiv today to meet with President Zelenskyy and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s democracy, sovereignty, and territorial integrity,” tweeted Joe Biden.

The President of the USA noted that the support for Ukraine would continue.

“Over the last year, the United States has built a coalition of nations from the Atlantic to the Pacific to help defend Ukraine with unprecedented military, economic, and humanitarian support – and that support will endure,” Joe Biden wrote on Twitter.

According to the White House, the President of the USA will also announce new military equipment for Ukraine.

“I will announce another delivery of critical equipment, including artillery ammunition, anti-armor systems, and air surveillance radars to help protect the Ukrainian people from aerial bombardments,” wrote the White House, quoting Joe Biden.

In addition, US President Joe Biden will visit Poland on February 20-22, 2023.
