The Operational Command Pivden (South) noted that the Ukrainian aviation made two strikes on areas of Russian manpower in the Kherson region on February 17, 2023. As a result, 18 Russian soldiers and 6 units of equipment were destroyed.

“Ukrainian aircraft carried out two strikes on the areas where the Russian manpower was concentrated in Hola Prystan and Pishchanivka. The missile and artillery units made 81 fire missions. Confirmed losses of the Russian army – 18 soldiers, 6 pieces of equipment, including a S-300 launcher, 2 large-caliber guns Giatsint-B, and 3 units of automotive equipment,” informed the Operational Command Pivden (South).
Five ammunition warehouses and an observation post of Russian troops were also destroyed, in particular on the islands of the Left bank.
“The Russian army continues the practice of using unmanned aerial vehicles to detect the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region and carries out isolated attacks with Lancet-type kamikaze drones, including on agricultural areas of the liberated territories,” added the Operational Command Pivden (South).
