Russian missile attacks damaged 4 thermal power plants

The press service of “DTEK Energo” (the largest private investor in the energy industry in Ukraine) reported that four thermal power plants of Ukraine were damaged on February 10, 2023, as a result Russian rocket attacks.

“Today, on February 10, 2023, as a result of night and day Russian shelling, four thermal power plants of “DTEK Energo” were damaged. According to preliminary information, two station employees were injured as a result of the attack. They were promptly provided with medical assistance,” explained the press service of “DTEK Energo”.

As a result of Russian shelling, the equipment of thermal power plants was seriously damaged. After the end of the attack, the energy industry began to eliminate its consequences.

“For the sake of safety, only critically necessary employees are at the facilities, others work remotely,” added the press service of “DTEK Energo”.

In addition, energy enterprises of “DTEK Energo” were attacked 27 times from September 2022 to February 2023. 28 energy workers were injured, and 3 killed.
