Serhiy Orekhov, the Deputy Chief of the Kherson City Military Administration informed on January 31, 2023, that Russian soldiers continued to shell the Kherson urban territorial community. Since November 20, 2022, Kherson has been shelled more than 1,700 times.

“Kherson has been shelled more than 1,700 times since November 20. 74 people were killed, including 1 child. 207 people were injured, including 5 children,” explained the Deputy Chief of the Kherson City Military Administration.
According to Serhiy Orekhov, 1,300 objects were destroyed in the city.
“1,300 objects were destroyed. Only last weekend, 74 buildings were damaged – housing stock, sports facilities, and cultural heritage sites were among them,” added the Deputy Chief of the Kherson City Military Administration.
Serhiy Orekhov also noted that city authorities are trying to carry out building conservation measures as quickly as possible and provide people with the necessary assistance.
