“Russian troops once again covered the Nikopol region with fire. They fired heavy artillery at Nikopol. Previously, one person was injured. He is a 64-year-old man. He is in the hospital with severe chest injuries,” explained the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to Valentyn Reznichenko, Russian shells caused a fire at the private house.
“Firefighters have already put out the fire. Up to 20 houses were damaged. The consequences of the attack are still being determined,” added the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Earlier, on New Year’s Eve, Russians shelled the Nikopol region twice and wounded a 48-year-old woman.
