The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted on December 30, 2022, that Ukrainian troops managed to liberate from Russian occupation 1,884 Ukrainian settlements since February 2022.

“2022 showed how strong we are. 1,884 settlements have been liberated from February to today,” explained the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
He added that immediately after the Armed Forces, the Ukrainian authorities came to the liberated territories. Currently, the infrastructure, electricity, water and gas supply is being restored in the villages, towns and cities liberated from Russian troops. Humanitarian aid and cash payments are provided to civilians.
“Since the first days of the war, we have been restoring everything that Russians destroyed – housing, hospitals, schools, infrastructure, and energy,” added the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, infrastructure is one of the main priorities of the government today. 15,199 objects have already been restored in Ukraine.
