The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte noted on December 23, 2022, on Twitter, that next year, the Netherlands would allocate 2.5 billion euros to support Ukraine.

“As long as Russia continues its war against Ukraine, NL will provide assistance to Ukraine. Military, humanitarian and diplomatic. We’re allocating €2.5 bn for this in 2023. Ukraine can rely on the Netherlands. We just confirmed this in our conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” wrote the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the allocation of 2.5 billion euros of aid.
“Had a conversation with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. Thanked for the decision to allocate €2.5 billion to help Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor. We appreciate Dutch support! We keep working together to increase defense capability, energy stability & restore critical infrastructure,” said the Ukrainian President.
The Netherlands has already provided military aid to Ukraine for almost 1 billion euros.
The Netherlands will also provide Ukraine with heavy military equipment. The total cost of the next aid package is EUR 120 million, of which EUR 45 million is allocated to T-72 tanks.
