“After the pause since December 7, 2022, we have 67 downed UAVs of this type. That is, it can be assumed that it is already from the new batch that they [Russians – ed.] received,” said the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yuriy Ihnat noted that the Russian Federation shared a common sea with Iran, so the supply of drones to the Russian Federation can continue to take place without problems both by sea and by air.
The spokesman said that drones were launched from another location.
“Previously it was the occupied Crimea and the Kherson region. Now they have already moved the launch points — this is the Krasnodar territory – the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov,” said Yuriy Ihnat.
According to him, the Russian Federation uses Shahed drones mainly in the time interval from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. because Russian troops realized that during the day drones can also be shot down with small arms and machine guns.
