Russians shelled Kurakhove in the Donetsk region, 8 civilians were killed and 5 wounded

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration noted that Russian troops again shelled the city of Kurakhove in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) on December 7, 2022. As a result of the shelling, 8 civilians were killed, and 5 more were injured.

“A powerful blow to Kurakhove. According to operational data, at least six civilians died, and five were wounded. Russian troops hit the center of the city. A market, a bus station, gas stations, and residential buildings came under fire,” said the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.

Later, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported on 8 killed and 5 wounded. According to him, the shelling was carried out with the help of multiple rocket launchers.

 

Russian soldiers also shelled Kurakhove at the end of November 2022. Then two civilians were killed, and another one was injured.
