“During the war, the Russian army damaged 1,157 health care facilities, and 144 were completely destroyed. Russia is trying to destroy our plans, but we are not only holding on, but in cooperation with international partners we are launching new ambitious projects. The ratification of the Framework Agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Austria on economic cooperation in the development of projects enables the implementation of our next plans,” said the head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

According to the document, a project worth 200 million euros is envisaged for the construction and equipment of the specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt” in Kyiv. Currently, 350 million euros will be allocated to equip the university clinic in the capital of Ukraine. In addition, it is planned to open a National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv, for which EUR 75 million will be allocated.
