The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov noted on November 16, 2022, on Telegram that Sweden would provide Ukraine with its biggest military aid package, which includes air defense systems.

“Good news from Scandinavia: Sweden announced another security aid package for Ukraine worth SEK 720 million. Air defense systems, vehicles, and winter equipment will help our soldiers and support Ukraine in the fight,” wrote Oleksiy Reznikov.
He thanked Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, and Defense Minister Paul Jonsson, as well as the people of Sweden for the help.
According to the government of Sweden, the aid package will also include a qualified weapon system for air defense, as well as qualified ammunition for personal all-terrain vehicles, personal equipment including winter equipment, and body protection, aiming devices, tents and masking nets.
“We are now sending a record-breaking support package to Ukraine, both humanitarian and military. The defense of Ukraine’s freedom is the most decisive foreign policy task of our time,” says the Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
