Russians shelled with rockets Ukraine’s southern region, 2 civilians died: video

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration noted on October 26, 2022, that Russian troops shelled the town of Orikhiv and the nearby village of Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region (south of Ukraine). As a result of the attack, fires broke out in a high-rise building in the city center and private houses around. According to preliminary information, 2 civilians died and 1 was injured.

According to Oleksandr Starukh, Russian soldiers used multiple launch rocket systems with incendiary ammunition.

“As a result of the Russian attack, fires broke out in a high-rise building in the city center and private houses around. Six apartments were on fire. The total area of the fire was more than 400 square meters. Information about the victims is being clarified,” the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration informed.

 

According to him, it is already known that two people died and one person was injured in the village of Preobrazhenka.

“The city of Orikhiv and the surrounding villages are under Russian missile attacks almost every day. The Russian army is systematically destroying the settlement. We call on the residents of Orikhiv to evacuate to safe places. There is currently such an opportunity. The local government is responsible for the process, it is ready to provide transport and shelter,” emphasized Oleksandr Starukh.
