Deputy US State Department spokesman noted that the organization of filtration camps for Ukrainians in Russia still worries the USA. Patel said that back in July, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke about numerous facts about how the Russian authorities deliberately separate Ukrainian children from their parents and abduct children from orphanages before giving them up for adoption in Russia.
“Various sources, including the Government of the Russian Federation, indicate that the Russian authorities have deported 260,000 children from [Ukraine – ed.] to Russia, often to remote areas of the Far East,” Vedant Patel emphasized, expressing gratitude to all journalists who bring information about what is happening in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories.
It should be noted that the authorities of Ukraine and a number of Western countries have repeatedly expressed their concern about children who are forcibly transported to Russia or the territories occupied by it.
