Operational Command “South” reported on September 23, 2022, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued their offensive in the south of our country.

The Ukrainian military establish fire control over the railway, which the Russian army uses to replenish supplies from the occupied Crimea (Ukraine’s south).
“We have carried out preparatory work on the identification of control points, places where weapons and equipment of Russian soldiers are concentrated, and the establishment of reserve pull-up points, including the rail from the direction of temporarily occupied Crimea. Fire control is being established over these objects.”
Operational Command “South” also noted that Russian troops became more active, in particular in the desire to demonstrate their strength in the rear territories. Having no success on land, they try to exert fire and psychological pressure on the civilian population.
“But our aviation made twenty strikes on Russian positions. The Russian Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed in the Mykolaiv region, and a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down by air defense forces and means in the Berislav district of the Kherson region.”
