55 diplomatic missions have already resumed work in Ukraine’s capital

The President of Ukraine said on his Telegram channel that he accepted the credentials of the ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Belgium and Spain on August 17, 2022.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that 55 diplomatic missions had already resumed work in Kyiv.

“These days there is very active diplomacy in the interests of our state. In St. Sophia of Kyiv, a ceremony of awarding credentials by new ambassadors of foreign states who arrived to work in our capital took place. The full-fledged work of embassies and the presence of ambassadors in Kyiv is one of the important confirmations of the strength of our state, the Ukrainian ability to fight and win. Already 55 diplomatic missions have resumed work. And today (August 17, – ed.) credentials were presented by the new ambassadors of Belgium, Spain, Kyrgyzstan and Romania,” the head of state noted.

At the same time, the President noted that Kyiv guarantees security of missions.
