The representative of the White House, John Kirby, said that on August 1, the United States announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth 550 million dollars, which will include ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS and 155 mm artillery systems.

“Today, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley discussed our support with the Ukrainian side. And they informed about a new package of $550 million in military aid, which the Biden’s administration approved on August 1,” he noted.
The aid includes 75,000 units of ammunition for 155 mm artillery and an undisclosed amount of additional ammunition for HIMARS.
In total, the United States has allocated about $8.8 billion in material and security aid to Ukraine since the Biden administration came to power. Since 2014, the United States has allocated more than $10 billion in security assistance to Ukraine.
