“This has never happened anywhere in the world, and we are doing everything possible to repel these attacks,” he said.
At the same time, the spokesman reminded us that the enemy has not flown into Ukrainian airspace for 2.5 months and had changed its tactics.
“The enemy operates from the territory of Belarus, the territory of Russia, the Black and Caspian seas, launching cruise missiles and above all hitting civilian objects and killing the civilian population,” Ihnat said.
As for the missile weapons used by the enemy, according to the representative of the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Federation switched primarily to Soviet-made missiles.
“There are a lot of talks about the fact that the enemy’s reserves of high-tech missiles, such as the Kalibr, are running out. The enemy is saving such high-cost equipment in order to threaten the whole world. Therefore, we see such missiles as Kh-22, Kh-39, Kh-31, which are increasingly used in various directions.”
