Russian missile hit a high-rise building in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv: photos, video

Explosions occurred in Kyiv at about 6:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, a Russian missile destroyed the upper floors of a 9-story building, and a fire broke out.

According to Klitschko, the explosions were in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Ambulance crews and rescuers are on the site.

Residents are being rescued and evacuated in two buildings. There was no immediate information on casualties.

According to the SES, as a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a 9-storey residential building with partial destruction of 7, 8 and 9 floors.

There was a fire on a total area of 300 square meters. There are people under the rubble. Some residents were evacuated, and two victims were hospitalized.
