Russia continues its offensive in the Donbas (east of Ukraine) and wants to destroy every city there, as it did with Volnovakha and Mariupol.

According to the President of Ukraine, destruction and grief are the only things Russia can give to its neighbours.
“Russia wants to break every city in Donbas. Every. And this is no exaggeration. Like it happened in Volnovakha and Mariupol. All these ruins of once happy cities, black traces of fires, funnels from explosions – this is all that Russia can give to its neighbours, Europe and the world. This is probably the fastest example of the complete degradation of any state, the path that the Russian state has taken in 107 days.”
In addition, the President noted that Ukrainian defenders are doing everything possible to protect their homeland, based on opportunities and available weapons. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the authorities continue to negotiate with Western partners on new supplies of necessary weapons, in particular, modern artillery.
