Operational information on June 2, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The Ukrainian heroic resistance against a russian military invasion continues for the 99th day.

The main focus of the belorusian republic’s armed forces is on strengthening their presence near the Ukrainian border in the Volyn-Polissya regions and mine forests roads, bypasses, and bridges. There is a big risk of strikes and missiles from the republic of belarus.

It conducted assault operations in the area of Studenok, Sosnove, Yarova and continued hostilities. The enemy stepped up electronic warfare in this direction.

The occupiers are continuing to bombard the Defense Forces positions and civilian infrastructure in the area of Lysychansk and Siverodonetsk. In the Borivske and Ustynivka areas, russians assault aircraft struck. The enemy also carried out unsuccessful attacks near Borivske.

The South Buh area is being occupied by russians to destroy the transport infrastructure. In the Kryvyi Rih direction russia had to defend unprepared frontiers and that’s why increased the use of electronic warfare. It caused fire damage to civilian infrastructure in areas such as Shyroke and Lepetykha. In the Black Sea and Azov operational zones, russian naval groups are focused on providing a favorable operational regime and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern Black Sea.

The enemy continues to lose manpower and equipment. According to information available, 32 people died and 115 were wounded in Donetsk’s temporarily occupied territory during the period May 27-28, 2022.

Forcible mobilization is underway in Donetsk oblast due to severe sanitary and irreversible losses among the military units and units in the 1st Army Corps, 8th Comnibed Arms Army units of the russian Armed Forces.
