Japan allocated an emergency grant for the transportation of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

The Japanese government has allocated approximately $ 1.7 million for the transportation of humanitarian goods to Ukraine.

The Japanese government has allocated an emergency grant amid growing calls for increased humanitarian aid to Ukrainians. The allocated funds will cover the transport costs of charitable organizations.

First of all, almost $ 1.7 million will be used to transport medical supplies to Ukraine. The Japanese government will cooperate with UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) on this issue.

Japan also reaffirmed its intention to continue cooperation with other countries to support the Ukrainian people on a global level.
