The Prince of Wales arrived in Romania to show his support for Ukrainian refugees and see what help they receive.
Prince Charles visited the Romexpo Donation Centre for Ukrainian refugees in Bucharest, where more and more Ukrainians are constantly arriving. He strongly condemned the war, calling it a “brutal aggression” against Ukraine.
It’s the first visit from a senior royal to the region since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine because Bucharest is located about 200 km from the border with Ukraine.
The United Nations says 966,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered Romania since the beginning of the war.
