The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have the necessary amount of heavy weapons and armored vehicles to lift the siege of Mariupol and liberate the city from the Russian occupiers.

“They (defenders of Mariupol, – Ed.) are all heroes there. If there was even a small opportunity to release them from siege in terms of a military operation, it would happen.”
Danilov states that the necessary amount of heavy equipment for the implementation of force lifting the siege is not yet available.
“Unfortunately, we do not have enough of what we call heavy weapons and armor today. If there was, the President of Ukraine would have given the command and a special operation would have been carried out.”
