“We gave Ukraine help in the form of heavy mortars, I won’t name a number, but we definitely donated a lot. Vilnius handed over heavy mortars to Ukraine, the cost of all military assistance to Kyiv is tens of millions of euros.”
Among the weapons transferred to Ukraine are air defense systems, anti-tank weapons, grenades, ammunition, and machine guns.
Lithuania has also begun training the first group of the Ukrainian military to use anti-tank weapons.
Last week, the country handed over telecommunications equipment to Ukraine to restore Ukrainian broadcasting in war-affected regions.
