Russia’s default is not a matter of months but weeks, – Prime Minister of Ukraine

He reminded us that the ports of all EU countries had stopped servicing Russian ships. Also, the countries of the European Union are finally starting discussions on the oil embargo and the strengthening of sanctions against Sberbank.

“These decisions are needed as soon as possible. These decisions will help stop the war. Russia’s default is not even a matter of months, but weeks,” he added.

According to Shmygal, the Ukrainian authorities, led by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talk to their partners every day about the importance of further pressure on Russia.

“And I am confident that this economic and financial pressure will continue. Just as we are all confident in Ukraine’s victory. We are working to bring it closer. We believe in our Armed Forces. We thank and support our defenders.”
