On April 15-16, the national tennis team of Ukraine will play a match of the Billie Jean King Cup (former Federation Cup) against the United States. The match will take place in Asheville, USA.
On the eve of the match, the organizers of the competition launched a charity fundraiser “TennisPlaysForPeace” in support of Ukrainian citizens affected by Russia’s military aggression.

A very substantial sum of 940 thousand dollars has already been raised.
Before the start of the tournament, the US team stated that it supported Ukraine at such a difficult time for the country.
