“War criminals have no place in UN bodies aimed at protecting human rights,” he said.

The General Assembly resolution was supported by 93 countries, 24 opposed and 58 abstained.

Human rights activists around the world have insisted on excluding Russia from the Human Rights Council. Apart from the organizations of our country, the open statement was also signed in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Georgia, Norway, Poland, Serbia, and other countries.

The actions of the Russian occupiers in Ukraine are part of a broad and protracted struggle by the Russian authorities against respect for human rights and human rights defenders, and Russian influence is hampering democratic transformation.
