The mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Makrushin said that according to preliminary data, up to 300 civilians and up to 50 servicemen died in Irpin.

“People that Russians didn’t like – were shot. I’ll tell you, maybe someone won’t like this, but it’s true. They crushed our Ukrainians who were killed, crushed them by tanks, and paved them over. It was scary to watch”.
He said that there was no exact number of civilians killed. People were buried in yards and parks when there was heavy fighting. Markushin estimated that up to 300 civilians were killed.
The mayor was told by residents who came out of the basements that they were not only undressed there, but there were also facts of “humiliation of women.”
