April 5, 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the creation of a new structure based on the Interior Ministry troops. New paramilitary has been called “The Federal Service National Guard troops” for short – Rusguard. It is noteworthy that under the authority Rusguard declared the possibility of involvement of the military structure in international operations “to maintain or restore peace and security.”
