Estonian election too close to call


The ruling, liberal Reform Party and the centre-left opposition Centre Party are neck and neck in opinion polls ahead of a general election in Estonia on Sunday (1 March).
The polls put the Reform Party of Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas on 23% of the vote, with the Centre Party on 22% and the Social Democrats, the current junior coalition partner, on 20%. The conservative Pro Patria and Res Publica Union (IRL) is in fourth place with 14%. Analysts suggest that the most likely outcome is a continuation of the current governing coalition.
