Eurozone finance ministers will meet in Brussels on Wednesday (11 February) in an attempt to contain discussions over Greece’s bail-out and prevent them from spilling over into a summit of European Union leaders the following day.
The decision to organise an emergency Eurogroup was taken following a meeting of economic experts from eurozone member states last night (5 February), where each member state presented its views on Greece’s demands.
