Operational information on June 22, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

119 days since the Ukrainian heroic resistance against a Russian military invasion has begun.

The situation is not changing in the Ukrainian Volyn or Polissia regions.

The enemy attempted to increase the tactical position of its units in the vicinity of Sloviansk using artillery shelling. It used barrel- and jet artillery in areas such as Novopavlivka, Nova Dmytrivka, Kurulka, Semylanne, Pryshyb, Krasnopillia, Vernopillia, Ridne, Chervone, Shnurky, Chervona Poliana, Karnauhivka, Velyka Komyshuvaha, and Dolyna.

Russian troops are trying to stop units of Ukrainian Defense Forces from entering the state frontier in Kharkiv. They launched artillery bombardment in the Kharkiv direction. The battle for Siverskodonetsk continues.

Russia conducted air strikes in Bakhmut’s areas of Berestove and Yakovlivka, Klynove, Vershyna, and air and missile strikes near Chasiv Yar and Novoluhansk. The enemy continued to fire at positions of Ukrainian Defense Forces with artillery, in the Sydorove and Donetske districts.

Near Novobakhmutivka and Kamyanka, Avdiyivka and Pavlivka were launched air strikes by the Russian army.

Russia is trying to stop the advance of the Ukrainian troops into the occupied territory from the South Buh direction using the engineering equipment of their positions, as well as fire from barrel and jet guns.
