Operational information on June 19, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

It has been 116 (one hundred sixteen) days since the heroic resistance of the Ukrainians against a Russian military invasion began.

The Russian army continues to launch air and missile strikes against civilian infrastructure and military forces in Ukraine.

Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus military tasks in the Volyn-Polissia directions to make a threat near the Belarusian/Ukrainian border and fortify the Gomel region. They also conduct electronic reconnaissance.

Units of the Armed Forces of Russia continue to maintain their engineering equipment positions in the Kursk region border areas. The Briansk region has seen an increase in its air defense system.

The enemy used barrel and jet artillery to bombard Ukrainian troops in the Kharkiv direction. It tried to conduct reconnaissance in the Rubizhne area but was unsuccessful.

The Russian army wasn’t active in the direction of Sloviansk. The Russian occupiers’ main goal is to gather resources to support a new offensive towards the city of Sloviansk. The enemy attacked Ukrainian troops and carried out air reconnaissance using the Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

In the Lyman direction, there were no active actions by the Russian soldiers. The enemy continues to operate round-the-clock air reconnaissance using the Orlan-10 UAV. Operates an assault to take full control of the city. Hostilities continue and the enemy is defeated.

Russian troops attacked using Ka-52 helicopters in the Bakhmut direction near Yakovlivka and fired missiles at New York (Niu-Yo, Donetsk Oblast), Travneve, Zaitseve, and Dolomitne.

The Ukrainian army successfully repelled an enemy attack on the eastern outskirts of Berestove village. Ukrainian positions are being bombarded more intensely by Russian invaders in the direction of Avdiyivka.

Russian troops opened fire on peaceful settlements in the South Buh direction of Lymany, Tavriiske, Novohryhorivka, Lupareve, Nova Zorya, Bilousove, Kniazivka, Topolyne, Velyka Kostromka, Osokorivka. The enemy is upgrading the engineering equipment of the 2nd and 1st lines of defense.

Russian aggressors are increasing the use of air defense systems in the Kherson region, temporarily occupied by Russian troops. Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict significant losses on Russian troops and provide a stable defense in all areas.
