Operational information on June 27, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The 124 (one hundred twenty-four) days have passed since the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against a Russian military invasion began.

No signs of the formation of Russian offensive units were seen in the Volyn or Polissia directions. According to all available information, the leadership in the republic of Belarus continues military support for the Russian Federation. In particular, another consignment with ammunition of up twenty cars was sent to Belgorod. The enemy also continues to strengthen the military presence at the Ukrainian-Russian border. It continued to shell civilian and military infrastructure in areas surrounding the settlements in Yanzhulivka and Khrinivka, in the Chernihiv region. Air strikes were carried out on the Sumy oblast settlement of Slavgorod.

The Russian army fired on units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Slobozhanskyi direction. It also conducted radio-technical reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and radio-technical surveillance. In the Kharkiv direction, Russia fired from tanks, mortars, and barrel artillery into the areas of Kharkiv and Ruska Lozova. It attempted to attack the Pytomnyk and Dementiyivka settlements but was unsuccessful. Remotely, the Russian occupiers mined the area around Fedorivka and Ukrainka.

Russian troops concentrated their efforts towards Dolyna in the Sloviansk direction. In the vicinity of the settlements Bohorodychne, Adamivka, Khrestyshche and Hrushuvakha as well as Svitlychne and Kurulka, barrel artillery and aircraft artillery were used. An air strike was also launched by the occupiers near Dovhenke. The Russian army is moving in the direction to Mazanivka to improve the tactical situation. It is attacking civilian and military infrastructures in the Vovchoiarivka, Lysychansk, and Loskutivka areas. Near Lysychansk, an enemy attacked with the assault aircraft. The fighting continues in the Vovchoiarivka region. Near Verkhnokamyanka the Ukrainian Defense Forces inflicted heavy loss on the Russian troops and forced them into retreat.

Russian soldiers did not engage in active combat battles in the Kramatorsk direction. They launched artillery at Raihorodok, Mayaky districts. In Bakhmut direction the Russian army fired mortars, barrel, and jet artillery at Ukrainian positions in the area of Spirne. Near Pokrovsky, the strike by army aircraft was recorded. Ukrainian soldiers stopped Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Yakovlivka and Spirne, as well as repelled the assault towards Klynove. The Russian offensive in the Berestove-Vershyna areas was stopped. The occupiers retreated. The Russian army arranges new positions, including checkpoints around Mykolayivka.

Russian soldiers used barrel and jet artillery to fire at Ukrainian troops along the contact line in the Avdiyivka and Kurakhiv, Novopavliv and Zaporizhzhya direction. Russia launched air strikes in the Krasnohorivka area, Vesele and Vuhledar areas, Shevchenko, Pavlivka, Mariyinka, Prychystiv. Avdiivka was the site of the Russian air strike and missile attack. Russian troops tried to advance near Maryinka again but were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers.

The Russian army concentrated its efforts in the South Buh direction on the maintenance of the occupied frontiers. Conducts reconnaissance, improves engineering equipment positions. It used barrel and jet artillery to attack civilian and military infrastructure in the area of Velyka Kostromka, Kniazivka, Partyzanske, Kvitneve, Stepova Dolyna, and Potemkine. Ukrainian aircraft successfully launched several air strikes against enemy clusters.
