Ukraine`s major state-owned arms manufacturer Ukroboronprom will present new samples of drones, mortars, aircraft missiles, sniper rifles, and other weapons on Monday, August 29, the press service of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) reported.
”On August 29, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov will participate in the presentation of advanced weapons and technology dedicated to the fifth anniversary of state concern Ukroboronprom. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko have also been invited to participate in the event,” a statement from the NSDC read.
According to the NSDC press service, the state leadership and top military brass will demonstrate an airplane model working with the multipurpose unmanned aircraft system, the multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle Phantom, a new 60-mm mortar designed according to NATO standards, R-27 air-launched missiles, sniper weapons, and other modern equipment.
The new weapons will be showcased at the Kyiv armored plant.
