Ukrgazvydobuvannia head detained in Kyiv

Head of PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia Serhiy Kostiuk was detained in Kyiv early on December 10, the press service of the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office has reported.
“The detention was made as part of a joint operation by the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office and the SBU near the main office of this company on Kudriavska Street. Today the Pechersky District Court is to choose a measure of restraint for Kostiuk. The city prosecutor’s office is insisting that the suspect be taken into custody,” reads the statement.
As reported, the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office approved the announcement of suspicion to the Ukrgazvydobuvannia head and his deputy regarding abuse of office that caused over UAH 23 million in losses to the state.
