Ukrainians in Nov sell $21 mln more currency than they purchase

Net sales of foreign currency by the Ukrainians in November amounted to $21.3 million, which is five times lower than the net sales in the previous month, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.

In November, the banks sold $116.4 million of cash currency to the population, buying $137.7 million in the same period, as reported on the NBU website.

According to the data released, the net sales of currency by Ukrainians since the beginning of the year, January-November, totaled $2,442 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the net sales of foreign currency by the Ukrainian population in October amounted to $113.9 million, in January-October, it was $2.421 billion.
