Ukrainian, U.S. presidents discuss humanitarian mission

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. President Barack Obama have discussed over the phone a humanitarian mission to Luhansk under the auspices of the Red Cross, the Ukrainian presidential press service has reported.
“The U.S. president expressed support for the actions of the Ukrainian president, in particular, his initiative regarding an international humanitarian mission for Luhansk under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross involving the EU, Russia, Germany and other partners,” the press service reported
Obama confirmed the intention of the United States to participate actively in the international humanitarian mission.
